Join our team: we are hiring a horizontal milling machine operator in Monroe County, New York. Your main tasks: • Measure features with vernier callipers, micrometers and bore gauges • Keep in-process inspection records and log production counts • Select and fit end mills, face mills and slot drills into collets and arbors • Set up and operate vertical and horizontal milling machines • Apply cutting coolant and clear swarf from the machine bed • Deburr and finish machined edges with files and emery Ideal candidate: • Able to grind and set HSS cutters • 2-3 years' hands-on milling experience • Experience on Fanuc/Siemens CNC controls Freshers welcome — about 6 years of practice is enough. Part-time with flexible hours. Overtime paid at a premium rate. Walk-in interviews this week.
