Now hiring: we are hiring a milling machinist in Boyd County, Kentucky. Requirements: • Able to read engineering drawings and interpret GD&T • Safety conscious and comfortable wearing PPE around moving machinery The role involves set up and operate vertical and horizontal milling machines; hold close tolerances down to ±0.02 mm; keep in-process inspection records and log production counts; apply cutting coolant and clear swarf from the machine bed; machine slots, pockets, flats, keyways and contours to drawing; set spindle speeds and feed rates to suit the material and cutter. 5+ years on the tools preferred.
