Now hiring: construction helper (Alabama)

We are recruiting: we are hiring a construction helper in Colbert County, Alabama. You will work on a high-rise construction site. On a typical shift you will erect and dismantle scaffolding and pass materials up; bend and tie rebar with binding wire for slabs and columns; pour and spread concrete, then compact it with a poker vibrator; wheel barrows of rubble to the skip and keep the site clean; set out levels with line and plumb under the mason's direction; mix concrete and mortar to the correct ratio, by hand or in a pan mixer. Requirements: • Physically fit and comfortable working at height • Prior experience as a labourer on building or civil sites • Able to follow the mason's and supervisor's instructions Full-time with occasional weekends.
