Press operator wanted in Sir Powys

Join our team: we are hiring a press operator in Sir Powys, Wales. You will be based in a forging and pressing unit. Requirements: • Basic understanding of metal grades and thicknesses • Physically fit to stand a full shift and lift blanks up to 20 kg Day-to-day duties: • Carry out first-off inspection and report rejects to the supervisor • Adjust press stroke, shut height and tonnage settings • Check stamped parts against drawings using vernier calipers and gauges • Watch for cracks, burrs, wrinkles and double-hits on parts • Clear scrap and offcuts from the die area 6+ years on the tools preferred.
