Immediate opening: we are hiring a mason's helper in Hawkins County, Tennessee. You will be based with a civil contractor. What we are looking for: • Prior experience as a labourer on building or civil sites • Willing to work outdoors in heat, dust and rain • Punctual and ready to do overtime when a pour demands it On the job you will handle: • Load and unload trucks of cement, steel bar and aggregate • Erect and dismantle scaffolding and pass materials up • Set out levels with line and plumb under the mason's direction • Fix and strip shuttering and formwork for beams and columns • Clear debris and sweep the slab before the next pour Freshers welcome — about 2 years of practice is enough.
