Vertical transportation technician wanted in Vale of Glamorgan

Vacancy available: we are hiring a vertical transportation technician in Vale of Glamorgan, Wales. You will be based on a high-rise construction site. Day to day you will carry out planned preventive maintenance and grease the guide shoes; measure rope tension and check for broken strands; top up the oil and bleed the cylinder on hydraulic lifts; replace worn sheaves, rollers, contactors and relays. Ideal candidate: • Ability to read electrical and wiring schematics • ITI in electrical/mechanical or an equivalent trade certificate 2+ years on the tools preferred. Part-time with flexible hours. Overtime paid at a premium rate. £3,150 per month, negotiable for the right hands. Walk-in interviews this week.
