Bar bender and fixer — Spokane County

Now hiring: we are hiring a bar bender and fixer in Spokane County, Washington. The job is on a civil engineering bridge and roads site. You should have: • Proven experience as a steel fixer on building or civil sites • Valid site safety card and PPE (helmet, boots, gloves) • Comfortable working at height and in deep excavations On a typical shift you will assemble column and beam cages on the bench; install chairs and bar supports to hold up the top mat; fit mechanical couplers where shown on the drawings; bend bars to shape on a bar bending machine; lay and tie mesh for slabs and ground-bearing floors. 3+ years on the tools preferred.
