Vacancy available: we are hiring a slinger signaller in Aberdeenshire, Scotland. Ideal candidate: • Valid rigging / lifting certificate or banksman-slinger ticket • Sound knowledge of working load limits and sling angles • Willing to work shifts, weekends and outdoors in all weather Day to day you will take part in toolbox talks and pre-lift briefings; direct the crane operator with standard hand signals and radio; read lift plans and method statements before starting; carry out daily checks on cranes, hoists and lifting tackle; select the correct slings, shackles and chains for each load's weight; calculate load weight and centre of gravity before every lift. £15 per hour, negotiable for the right hands. Overtime paid at a premium rate. Six days a week, one day off. Contact us to fix an interview.
