Now hiring: we are hiring a shuttering fixer in Morton County, Kansas. The job is on a bridge and flyover project. Ideal candidate: • Sound understanding of props, bracing and load-bearing • Hands-on with timber, plywood and system formwork • Able to read formwork and structural drawings The role involves: • Check alignment with spirit level, plumb bob and string line • Cut and assemble plywood and timber panels for columns, beams and slabs • Apply mould-release oil to the plywood faces before concreting • De-nail, clean and stack the panels for reuse Freshers welcome — about 6 years of practice is enough.
