The role involves: • Set out levels with line and plumb under the mason's direction • Cure freshly laid concrete by sprinkling water for several days • Dig foundation trenches and pits with pick and shovel • Clear debris and sweep the slab before the next pour • Stack and store materials safely to avoid wastage Requirements: • Physically fit and comfortable working at height • Wear safety helmet, boots and gloves at all times • Able to lift and carry heavy loads such as 50 kg cement bags all day Full-time with occasional weekends.
