We are recruiting: we are hiring a blocklayer in Durham County, North Carolina. You should have: • Proven experience laying facing and engineering bricks • Able to read construction drawings and setting-out marks • Reliable timekeeping and able to hit daily brick targets On the job you will handle: • Mixing mortar to the right consistency with sand, cement and plasticiser • Cutting bricks to size with a bolster and club hammer or angle grinder • Brushing the wall down and removing mortar snots as you go • Spreading and furrowing mortar beds with the trowel At least 4 year(s) in a similar role.
