Requirements: • Able to inspect and reject defective lifting gear • Confident with standard crane hand signals Day to day you will carry out daily checks on cranes, hoists and lifting tackle; fit tag lines to control and steady suspended loads; check sling angles to stay within the working load limit; select the correct slings, shackles and chains for each load's weight.
