Vacancy available: we are hiring a garment machinist in Okehi, Kogi State. You will be based at a busy garment factory. Requirements: • Comfortable working long hours seated at a fast line • ITI / tailoring certificate is a plus • Can hit the daily piece-rate target consistently Your main tasks: • Clear thread jams, re-time the looper and oil the machine before the shift • Operate single-needle lockstitch, overlock and flatlock machines on a production line • Inspect each piece for skipped stitches, broken thread and needle holes • Match notches and ply, lining up checks and stripes before stitching • Change needles, presser feet and folders to suit the fabric and operation Part-time with flexible hours.
