Shakeout operator • Ralls County, Missouri

Great opportunity: we are hiring a shakeout operator in Ralls County, Missouri. On a typical shift you will inspect castings for cold shuts, blowholes and shrinkage defects; carry out shakeout and knock the castings out of the sand; melt scrap metal and ingots in induction or cupola furnaces; assemble cope and drag mould halves and clamp them together. What we are looking for: • Physically fit to lift heavy moulding boxes and castings • Understanding of safe slinging and crane-ladle signalling • Willing to work in hot, dusty conditions and rotating shifts A stable, long-term role with a friendly crew.
