Finishing presser — Lake County

Immediate opening: we are hiring a finishing presser in Lake County, Minnesota. Day to day you will fuse interlinings and fusible tape on the fusing press; use a pressing cloth to protect delicate fabrics; press open seams, darts and pleats during stitching; hang or fold pressed garments and pass them to packing; keep the boiler topped up and hold steady steam pressure; meet the daily piece target without damaging garments. What we are looking for: • A keen eye for scorch, shine and uneven creases • Sound knowledge of fabric types and correct heat settings • 1-2 years' experience pressing garments in a factory 5+ years on the tools preferred. $2,900 per month, negotiable for the right hands.
