Join our team: we are hiring a sand plant operator in Tarauni, Kano State. You will work on the moulding line. The role involves assemble cope and drag mould halves and clamp them together; apply mould coatings and dress the mould cavity; tap the furnace and transfer the metal to the ladle; cut off risers, runners and gates with a grinder or torch. You should have: • Understanding of safe slinging and crane-ladle signalling • Comfortable working close to furnaces and molten metal • Keen eye for casting defects during inspection 2+ years on the tools preferred.
