Crane rigger wanted in Magoffin County

Immediate opening: we are hiring a crane rigger in Magoffin County, Kentucky. You will attach wire rope and chain slings to loads using shackles and hooks; set up spreader bars and lifting beams for long or awkward loads; secure loads with turnbuckles, chain blocks and lever hoists; rig and lift structural steel, precast panels and machinery into position; carry out daily checks on cranes, hoists and lifting tackle. Ideal candidate: • Sound knowledge of working load limits and sling angles • Able to inspect and reject defective lifting gear At least 3 year(s) in a similar role.
