We are recruiting: we are hiring a banksman in Scotts Bluff County, Nebraska. Day-to-day duties: • Calculate load weight and centre of gravity before every lift • Guide loads through tight openings into their final position • Attach wire rope and chain slings to loads using shackles and hooks • Set up spreader bars and lifting beams for long or awkward loads • Read lift plans and method statements before starting • Establish exclusion zones and keep workers clear of the lift area What we are looking for: • Valid rigging / lifting certificate or banksman-slinger ticket • Proven experience as a rigger on construction or industrial sites Freshers welcome — about 4 years of practice is enough.
