Ideal candidate: • Attention to detail and steady hands for accurate loading • Basic understanding of metal grades and thicknesses • Familiar with die setting and quick tool changes The role involves record output and downtime on the production sheet; punch, blank, pierce, bend and form sheet metal components; check stamped parts against drawings using vernier calipers and gauges; load metal sheets, blanks and coils onto the press bed; carry out first-off inspection and report rejects to the supervisor.
