Vertical transportation technician wanted in Yolo County

We are recruiting: we are hiring a vertical transportation technician in Yolo County, California. You will work in a residential tower block. Day-to-day duties: • Wire up the controller, encoder and limit switches • Measure rope tension and check for broken strands • Set and test the overspeed governor and safety gear • Top up the oil and bleed the cylinder on hydraulic lifts • Mount and align landing doors, sills and car door operators • Run load and overload tests with test weights Requirements: • Valid driving licence for site call-outs • Good head for heights for pit and car-top work 3+ years on the tools preferred.
