Garment machinist wanted in Wilson County

Great opportunity: we are hiring a garment machinist in Wilson County, North Carolina. You will work in a small denim manufacturing unit. Day to day you will keep an even stitch density (SPI) and a straight, consistent seam line; meet the hourly piece-rate target without dropping quality; stitch seams, hems, side seams and shoulder joins to the marked seam allowance; thread the machine, wind bobbins and balance top and bottom tension; press open seams or use a folder/binder attachment for bound edges; inspect each piece for skipped stitches, broken thread and needle holes. What we are looking for: • Quality-conscious with an eye for puckers, skipped stitches and uneven seams • Good eyesight and steady hands for fine, accurate stitching • Can hit the daily piece-rate target consistently At least 4 year(s) in a similar role. Rotating shifts. Walk-in interviews this week.
