Moulder — Erie County

Urgent requirement: we are hiring a moulder in Erie County, Pennsylvania. On the job you will handle: • Make and bake sand cores for the internal cavities • Apply mould coatings and dress the mould cavity • Assemble cope and drag mould halves and clamp them together • Pour molten metal into the moulds using hand or crane ladles • Shot-blast castings to clean off burnt sand and scale • Tap the furnace and transfer the metal to the ladle Requirements: • Understanding of safe slinging and crane-ladle signalling • Comfortable working close to furnaces and molten metal • Physically fit to lift heavy moulding boxes and castings At least 2 year(s) in a similar role.
