Immediate opening: we are hiring a reinforcement fitter in El Dorado County, California. You will work on an infrastructure project such as a metro or flyover. Requirements: • Sound knowledge of lap lengths, cover and bar spacing • Comfortable working at height and in deep excavations • Able to read reinforcement drawings and bar bending schedules The role involves assemble column and beam cages on the bench; set out starter bars and column dowels for the next lift; lay and tie mesh for slabs and ground-bearing floors; check bar diameter, spacing and cover before the pour; fit mechanical couplers where shown on the drawings. Freshers welcome — about 4 years of practice is enough. We offer $3,700 per month plus benefits. A stable, long-term role with a friendly crew. Full-time with occasional weekends.
