Urgent requirement: domestic gas engineer (North Carolina)

Vacancy available: we are hiring a domestic gas engineer in Wake County, North Carolina. The job is at a busy gas installation company. What we are looking for: • Physically fit for lifting pipe, meters and cylinders • Competent in pipe threading, brazing and PE electrofusion • 2+ years' experience on domestic and commercial gas installations The role involves fix pipe clips, brackets and wall sleeves and sleeve pipe through walls; check every joint for leaks with soapy water and leak-detection spray; purge air from the lines and commission appliances to the correct gas rate; connect combi boilers, water heaters and gas cookers to the supply; locate and repair gas leaks and replace corroded pipe sections; fit flexible connection hoses and bayonet fittings to the appliances. Freshers welcome — about 1 years of practice is enough. Full-time with occasional weekends. Meals and transport allowance provided. $3,900 per month, negotiable for the right hands.
