We are recruiting: tube and fitting scaffolder (England)

Great opportunity: we are hiring a tube and fitting scaffolder in City and Borough of Birmingham, England. You will work at a commercial fit-out project. On the job you will handle: • Read scaffold drawings and work to the agreed loading class • Fix transoms and bracing to keep the structure square and rigid • Hoist tubes, boards and fittings up by gin wheel and rope • Tie the scaffold back to the building with through-ties and anchors • Set out base plates and sole boards on firm, level ground You should have: • Full use of harness, lanyard and fall-arrest equipment • Good head for heights and comfortable on open platforms • CISRS card or local equivalent at Part 1 / Part 2 level Freshers welcome — about 2 years of practice is enough.
