Gas service engineer wanted in Concordia Parish

Join our team: we are hiring a gas service engineer in Concordia Parish, Louisiana. The job is at a boiler and appliance service centre. Day-to-day duties: • Thread, ream and join black iron pipe with pipe wrenches and thread sealant • Connect combi boilers, water heaters and gas cookers to the supply • Run polyethylene (PE) service pipe and electrofusion-weld the joints • Set and adjust regulator outlet pressure with a gauge • Install flue and chimney terminals and check for adequate ventilation • Test combustion and flue gases with a flue gas analyser Requirements: • Sound knowledge of gas safety regulations and pressure testing • Physically fit for lifting pipe, meters and cylinders • Competent in pipe threading, brazing and PE electrofusion At least 5 year(s) in a similar role. Part-time with flexible hours. Overtime paid at a premium rate. Walk-in interviews this week.
