Join our team: we are hiring a finishing presser in Shelby County, Alabama. You will be based at a dry cleaner's. Day to day you will spray water or starch to set sharp creases on trousers and shirts; hang or fold pressed garments and pass them to packing; operate the steam press and vacuum table to finish garments; clean and descale the iron soleplate and steam vents; keep the boiler topped up and hold steady steam pressure. What we are looking for: • Sound knowledge of fabric types and correct heat settings • Able to keep pace with line speed and piece targets • 1-2 years' experience pressing garments in a factory At least 2 year(s) in a similar role. $3,200 per month, negotiable for the right hands.
