Great opportunity: we are hiring a vehicle spray painter in Santa Cruz County, California. Day to day you will bake panels in the spray booth oven to cure the paint; apply etch primer to aluminium and galvanised panels; check the colour match under booth lights against the maker's swatch; compound and polish the cured finish to a high gloss; wet-sand and buff out runs, orange peel and dust nibs; set the spray gun air pressure and fan pattern for an even finish. What we are looking for: • 2+ years' experience in automotive refinishing • Sound knowledge of 2K paints, primers and hardeners Six days a week, one day off.
