What we are looking for: • Ability to read lift plans and rigging diagrams • Able to inspect and reject defective lifting gear • Comfortable working at height and in confined spaces The role involves direct the crane operator with standard hand signals and radio; select the correct slings, shackles and chains for each load's weight; fit tag lines to control and steady suspended loads; set up spreader bars and lifting beams for long or awkward loads.
