We are recruiting: we are hiring an ironing operator in Oneida County, Wisconsin. The job is in a garment export house. Requirements: • Able to keep pace with line speed and piece targets • Sound knowledge of fabric types and correct heat settings The role involves clean and descale the iron soleplate and steam vents; meet the daily piece target without damaging garments; check every piece for scorch marks, shine and water spots; remove creases, wrinkles and packing folds with a steam iron; shape collars, cuffs and lapels using a tailor's ham and sleeve board.
