Vacancy available: we are hiring a stainless steel welder in Kanabec County, Minnesota. The role involves: • Set up the argon shielding gas and check the flow rate at the regulator • Inspect welds for porosity, undercut and lack of fusion • Clean the base metal with a stainless brush and acetone before welding • Feed the filler rod by hand while controlling the weld puddle • Carry out 6G pipe welds where required • Weld in flat, horizontal, vertical and overhead positions Requirements: • Own basic hand tools and PPE • Able to weld thin-gauge sheet without burn-through Freshers welcome — about 5 years of practice is enough. $3,400 per month, negotiable for the right hands.
