Milling machinist — Reno County

Great opportunity: we are hiring a milling machinist in Reno County, Kansas. The job is at a fabrication and machining plant. On the job you will handle: • Load and edit CNC programs (G-code) at the Fanuc/Siemens control • Measure features with vernier callipers, micrometers and bore gauges • Mount workpieces in machine vices, clamps and fixtures and check for square • Run first-off parts and check dimensions before batch production • Monitor tool wear and change blunt inserts and cutters • Set up and operate vertical and horizontal milling machines Requirements: • Proficient with micrometers, vernier callipers and dial gauges • Willing to work rotating shifts and night shift • Able to read engineering drawings and interpret GD&T At least 4 year(s) in a similar role.
