Now hiring: framing carpenter (Tennessee)

Now hiring: we are hiring a framing carpenter in Anderson County, Tennessee. You will be based on a commercial fit-out site. Ideal candidate: • Accurate to fine tolerances on finish work • NVQ Level 2/3 in Carpentry and Joinery or equivalent • Sound knowledge of timber types, grades and fixings Your main tasks: • Glue, clamp, screw and dowel joints together • Install skirting boards, architraves and dado rails • Assemble bespoke and flat-pack kitchen units and fit worktops • Build and erect roof trusses, rafters and stud partitions • Plane and sand timber to a smooth, square finish • Read and work from architectural drawings and cutting lists Freshers welcome — about 2 years of practice is enough. Meals and transport allowance provided. Full-time with occasional weekends. Walk-in interviews this week.
