Now hiring: we are hiring a gang bricklayer in Atkinson County, Georgia. Requirements: • Able to read construction drawings and setting-out marks • Proven experience laying facing and engineering bricks • Able to lay to line, level and plumb consistently Your main tasks: • Bedding in air bricks, weep holes and wall starters • Spreading and furrowing mortar beds with the trowel • Pointing and repointing weathered mortar joints • Cutting bricks to size with a bolster and club hammer or angle grinder • Mixing mortar to the right consistency with sand, cement and plasticiser Six days a week, one day off.
