Urgent requirement: we are hiring a bread baker in Greene County, Mississippi. You will be based at a neighbourhood confectionery. Ideal candidate: • 2+ years' experience as a baker • Knowledge of dough fermentation and proving • Able to stand for long hours in a hot kitchen On a typical shift you will roll out short-crust and biscuit dough; boil sugar syrup for glazes and icing; keep work surfaces and equipment clean to food-safety standards; monitor oven temperature and baking time for each batch. Freshers welcome — about 5 years of practice is enough. Full-time with occasional weekends. Performance bonus on top of base pay. $3,500 per month, negotiable for the right hands.
