HSE officer • Saint Lucie County, Florida

Immediate opening: we are hiring a HSE officer in Saint Lucie County, Florida. On the job you will handle: • Stop unsafe work and brief the supervisor on corrective action • Carry out toolbox talks with the crew before each shift • Take gas readings with a multi-gas detector before confined-space entry • Verify lifting gear, slings, shackles and crane test certificates • Conduct job hazard analysis (JHA) on every new task What we are looking for: • Confident enough to halt unsafe work on the spot • Valid first aid and basic firefighting training • Comfortable working at height and inside confined spaces 5+ years on the tools preferred. Full-time with occasional weekends. Overtime paid at a premium rate. $4,100 per month, negotiable for the right hands. Walk-in interviews this week.
