On the job you will handle: • Strike the arc with high-frequency start and control heat with the foot pedal • Read welding symbols and joint details off the fabrication drawing • Inspect welds visually for porosity, cracks and undercut • Clamp and fit up components on the jig before welding Ideal candidate: • Can read fabrication drawings and welding symbols • Able to pass a weld test on the spot Six days a week, one day off.
