Argon arc welder • Yola North, Adamawa State

Immediate opening: we are hiring an argon arc welder in Yola North, Adamawa State. You will be based at an automotive body and exhaust shop. On a typical shift you will back-purge pipe joints with argon so the root does not oxidise; feed filler rod by hand while holding a steady weld pool; select AC for aluminium and DC for stainless and mild steel; sharpen tungsten electrodes and fit the correct gas cup size. Requirements: • Steady hand and good hand-eye coordination • Able to TIG weld stainless steel and aluminium to a neat standard • Comfortable working off scaffolds and in tight spaces Pay around ₦255,000 per month, based on your experience. Overtime paid at a premium rate. Full-time, day shift. Walk-in interviews this week.
