Lifting rigger wanted in Obubra

Vacancy available: we are hiring a lifting rigger in Obubra, Cross River State. What we are looking for: • Comfortable working at height and in confined spaces • Confident with standard crane hand signals • Able to inspect and reject defective lifting gear On the job you will handle: • Take part in toolbox talks and pre-lift briefings • Select the correct slings, shackles and chains for each load's weight • Establish exclusion zones and keep workers clear of the lift area • Attach wire rope and chain slings to loads using shackles and hooks • Check sling angles to stay within the working load limit • Tag and quarantine any damaged or out-of-date rigging gear 6+ years on the tools preferred.
