Now hiring: we are hiring a sheet metal welder in Ori Ire, Oyo State. Day to day you will set the argon flow on the flowmeter and check the hose for leaks; tack weld parts to hold the fit-up before the final run; clamp and fit up components on the jig before welding; TIG weld aluminium sections after cleaning off the oxide layer; strike the arc with high-frequency start and control heat with the foot pedal; sharpen tungsten electrodes and fit the correct gas cup size. You should have: • Can read fabrication drawings and welding symbols • ITI or trade certificate in welding an advantage • Good eyesight for fine sheet-metal work Overtime paid at a premium rate.
