We are recruiting: we are hiring a floor and wall tile fitter in Grimes County, Texas. The job is in a tile and sanitaryware showroom. Day-to-day duties: • Run silicone sealant into corners and expansion joints • Set out the tile layout and snap reference lines with a chalk line • Screed and prepare uneven floors before tiling • Spread adhesive with a notched trowel and back-butter the tiles • Check the falls to floor wastes so the water drains away Requirements: • Familiar with porcelain, ceramic, mosaic and natural stone • Able to work to deadlines on busy sites • Work neatly with minimal tile wastage Part-time with flexible hours.
