Great opportunity: we are hiring a TIG welder in Bristol Bay Borough, Alaska. Day to day you will set the argon flow on the flowmeter and check the hose for leaks; keep the arc length and travel speed consistent; clean joints with acetone and a dedicated stainless wire brush; feed filler rod by hand while holding a steady weld pool; TIG weld aluminium sections after cleaning off the oxide layer. What we are looking for: • Good eyesight for fine sheet-metal work • Able to TIG weld stainless steel and aluminium to a neat standard At least 4 year(s) in a similar role.
