MIG/MAG welder — Burke County

Join our team: we are hiring a MIG/MAG welder in Burke County, North Carolina. The job is in a heavy engineering unit. Your main tasks: • Weld in flat, horizontal and vertical-up positions • Bevel and grind the joint edges clean before welding • Maintain the torch liner, earth clamp and gas hose • Tack components to the jig and check the fit-up against the drawing • Grind back and re-weld any defective runs Requirements: • Knowledge of short-circuit and spray-transfer modes • Steady hand and good eyesight for tight tolerances 6+ years on the tools preferred.
