HSE officer wanted in Prince George's County

Great opportunity: we are hiring a HSE officer in Prince George's County, Maryland. You will work on a road and infrastructure project. You should have: • Sound knowledge of local OSH and factory act regulations • Confident enough to halt unsafe work on the spot • Valid first aid and basic firefighting training Your main tasks: • Record accident statistics and keep the safety logbook up to date • Verify lifting gear, slings, shackles and crane test certificates • Ensure MSDS/SDS sheets are on hand for every chemical on site • Investigate near-misses and incidents and file root-cause reports • Conduct job hazard analysis (JHA) on every new task Part-time with flexible hours.
