Now hiring: we are hiring a paint and prep technician in Southampton County, Virginia. What we are looking for: • 2+ years' experience in automotive refinishing • Comfortable working in a spray booth with full PPE • Able to mix paint by weight on a scale The role involves: • Prime and seal bare metal to stop rust • Apply body filler and block-sand to a smooth contour • Apply primer, base coat and clear coat with an HVLP spray gun • Check the colour match under booth lights against the maker's swatch At least 2 year(s) in a similar role.
