Immediate opening: we are hiring a machinist in St. Clair County, Alabama. Ideal candidate: • Able to read a spec sheet and follow a sewing operation breakdown • Can hit the daily piece-rate target consistently • Comfortable working long hours seated at a fast line Day to day you will trim loose threads, clip curves and notch corners as you go; stitch seams, hems, side seams and shoulder joins to the marked seam allowance; press open seams or use a folder/binder attachment for bound edges; clear thread jams, re-time the looper and oil the machine before the shift; keep an even stitch density (SPI) and a straight, consistent seam line.
