Join our team: we are hiring a tailor machinist in Demsa, Adamawa State. The job is at a busy garment factory. Your main tasks: • Change needles, presser feet and folders to suit the fabric and operation • Inspect each piece for skipped stitches, broken thread and needle holes • Thread the machine, wind bobbins and balance top and bottom tension • Attach collars, cuffs, plackets, pockets and waistbands as per the spec sheet • Set armholes and sleeves, easing the cap so there are no puckers Ideal candidate: • Comfortable working long hours seated at a fast line • Hands-on with single needle, overlock and flatlock machines Six days a week, one day off. Performance bonus on top of base pay. Walk-in interviews this week.
