Gang bricklayer • Westmoreland County, Virginia

Urgent requirement: we are hiring a gang bricklayer in Westmoreland County, Virginia. You will work on a busy housing site. Day-to-day duties: • Setting out walls from the drawings and marking the brick gauge • Brushing the wall down and removing mortar snots as you go • Building the corners (leads) first and racking back the courses • Checking every course for height and level with a gauge rod • Erecting and working off trestles and scaffold lifts What we are looking for: • Reliable timekeeping and able to hit daily brick targets • NVQ Level 2 in Bricklaying an advantage Rotating shifts.
