Gas metal arc welder wanted in Johnston County

Vacancy available: we are hiring a gas metal arc welder in Johnston County, North Carolina. On a typical shift you will strike and hold a stable short-circuit or spray-transfer arc; bevel and grind the joint edges clean before welding; set the shielding-gas flow on the CO2/argon-mix regulator; set the wire feed speed and voltage to suit the plate thickness. Ideal candidate: • ITI in welder trade or equivalent • Able to grind, fit-up and tack independently • Able to read weld symbols and fabrication drawings At least 1 year(s) in a similar role. A stable, long-term role with a friendly crew. Six days a week, one day off. Walk-in interviews this week.
