Join our team: steel fixing chargehand (Maryland)

Vacancy available: we are hiring a steel fixing chargehand in Kent County, Maryland. You will work on a civil engineering bridge and roads site. You will fix cover blocks and spacers to maintain concrete cover; assemble column and beam cages on the bench; lap and splice bars to the specified lap length; check bar diameter, spacing and cover before the pour. What we are looking for: • Comfortable working at height and in deep excavations • Sound knowledge of lap lengths, cover and bar spacing • Own basic tools such as pliers, tie hook, tape and level At least 3 year(s) in a similar role. Six days a week, one day off. We offer $21 per hour plus benefits. Walk-in interviews this week.
